NICE DAY FOR A PADDLE DOWN THE ROAD
Here you will find details of club events, information on paddling,photo,s of past events, and links to other sites of interest.
 
We are a friendly local based canoe and kayaking club welcoming everyone who wants to try canoeing and kayaking.

We are out on the sea and rivers throughout the year, run pool sessions in the winter and lake sessions in the summer for anyone wanting to have a go, either absolute begginers or experienced paddlers, all are welcome. 

FIND US ON FACE BOOK TO CHECKOUT WHAT AND WHERE WE ARE PADDLING. 
OR COME ALONG TO CLUB SEA/SURF SESSIONS WHICH ARE, SUNDAY AFTERNOON @ 2.00 PM & THURSDAY @ 6.00 NIGHT (meeting in north bay) 

                                                 SUMMER IS NEARLY HERE!!

Summer Lake sessions are coming soon, unfortunately not as soon as we would have wished due to big reorganizing of the access road to the lake,  moving the containers and re landscaping,   which means we are not going to able to use it until May. So the dates for Summer sessions are now:- -
NEW DATES FOR 2012:- 
2nd,9th 16th 23rd 30th May   6th 13th, 20th, 27th June  4th, 11th, 18th,25th July

  
The dates shown in RED are at Wykeham and in BLUE in the sea or river ( to be advised nearer time)

Requirements for the  summer sessions are, wet suit/drysuit or thermal fleece and windproof cag or top, change of clothes (as you will get wet/very wet) foot wear- pair of trainers or neoprene wetsuit shoes  

 


How to find us at Wykeham Lakes.
Situated off the A170 Scarborough to Pickering road, half a mile past West Ayton turn first left immediately after the lay bye, head south half a mile till you come to the Lake keepers house immediately in-front of you, take the left hand turning to the right of this house and follow the "Wykehamwatersports" signs along the rough track to the last large boating lake.
